Originally commissioned, designed, built (ship build number 168, Nyland Verksted), and launched as a whaling ship in Oslo, Norway, in 1907, this vessel has had many owners, names and major refits over her 100 year maritime history. Major refits undertaken in the years 1928 / 1938 / 1940 / 1952 / 1965 / 1995 / 2005 / 2008.

2008 Completed Work/Job List: Complete rebuild of cpp ( pitching prop ) and stern tube seals and associated assembly. Removed prop shaft and surveyed shaft and bearings. Complete overhaul of thru - hull valves. Replaced 6 kw Lister engine (generator). Sandblasted hull and completely repainted. New Zinc anodes. Thorough out-of- water survey completed.
