"Persian Lady" is a 12 metre catamaran of Roger Simpson design. She was built in England by East Point Catamaran to an approved surveyed standard of finish. Launched in 1993 she cruised the UK North Sea until 1998 when she commenced her world cruise. Since leaving the UK she has extensively and safely crossed the Atlantic the Pacific and cruised throughout the Caribbean.
Since 2000 she has made a number of seasonal passages between New Zealand and the islands of Tonga, Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu and the Wallis group. In 2005 she cruised Australia and then passaged
through Indonesia to Langkawi, Malaysia where she is now based.
Thus, she is a proven safe offshore blue water vessel; a comfortable home for the discerning cruiser. In 2000 she was modified to extend the hulls by 0.75 metres in the stern to enhance the profile and improve performance and it also created an ideal bathing platform.

This Sea Ray 240 Sundeck (2006) has been maintained with care since new. Its been kept out of the water since new with no bottom paint. The owner upgraded the engine to Mercruiser 350 Magnum MPI 300 HP and fitted out many extras including SMARTCRAFT system which is a smart compass and craft diagnostic custom Sea Ray instrumentation. The boat has tilt steering wheel, pull out ladders on bow and transom, 20 gallon fresh water tank, hydraulic trim tabs, dual battery with on/off switch, trim switch cockpit and at transom and fire extinguisher Halon system. The floor is an easy-to-care-for fibreglass and there are the snap-in carpet liner for added comfort.
The bow area has a full-length lounge seat on either side. On the port side, the spacious head has a sink with vanity and a port hole for light and ventilation. In the cockpit area, behind the captain's seat there ia a wet bar with another sink and pull-out sprayer. Both bow and cockpit areas have removable tables. Another added option is the Clarion 12 V player with cd changer with 4 weather proof speakers for that surround audio system. She is a fun to drive boat and is a perfect platform for getting out on the water with family and friends. |

Many, many improvements and modifications have been incorporated during the refit and based directly on the owners’ first-hand experiences in 20,000 miles of sailing this fine yacht. |
