Peter Ibold Endurance 45 ketch . Professionally built in ferrocement in Holland 1981. In our ownership for 21 years, only for sale as we now need to downsize. We have used her for everything from weekend sailing to long periods living aboard. Whether you just want a lovely home or to wander the world Saradan will look after you.

Accommodation

Main accommodation is aft with large double bunk, saloon area and owners shower and electric toilet. Forward of this to port is the galley, to starboard is the engine room with bench and vice. The wheelhouse is the full width of the boat. Forward again and to starboard is a double cabin with two bunks and storage. Port amidships second electric toilet and wash basin. Forward v berth.

Construction

Professionally built for first owner in Holland in 1981. Ferrocement monocoque with heavy marine ply construction in only wheelhouse and cockpit.

Main engine electrics 12v charged by engine alternator and separate 12v mains charger.

Engine(s)

Main engine a Mitsubishi 95HP 6 cylinder diesel is located under the cockpit sole in the engine room. New engine installed in 2016 with new gearbox and packing gland.
Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger driving to a fixed three blade propeller new 2009.
Single lever control to cockpit.
The engine room also includes a bench, vice and workshop.
Fuel cleaning system with new filter Electric bleed to fuel system.

Sails & Spars

Main and mizzen both aluminium heavy section.
Rig is stainless steel and is subject to a ‘rolling’ renewal scheme.
Dates of each part of the rig available.
Sails new in 2007 triple stitched heavy duty Main, Mizen, Staysail and Yankee. Light weather number 1 1995 in reasonable condition.
Four self tailing sheet winches in cockpit.
Separate electric winch just to rear of cockpit.
All headsails on roller furling systems. These are not new but we have deliberately not changed them as they are heavy built units.
